SERVICE POLICY – SKMEI WATCHES

Terms and conditions of WARRANTY

SKMEI watches are warranted by Skmei India for a period of six (6) months from the date of purchase under the terms and conditions of this warranty. The Skmei India warranty covers manufacturing defects only.

During the warranty period the watch movement, hands and dial are the only components covered under this warranty. These will be repaired or the watch will be replaced free of repair charges, if it proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use.

In case of replacement, Skmei India cannot guarantee that you will receive the same model watch. If your model is not available, a watch of equal value and similar style will be provided. The warranty for the replacement watch ends six months from the date the replacement watch is received.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Any defects in materials and workmanship of battery, crystal, glass, case, strap or bracelet
  • Damage caused by watch being opened/disassembled/repaired/serviced at a un-authorized service outlet
  • Damage resulting from improper handling, lack of care, accidents or normal wear and tear
  • Water damage unless marked water-resistant
  • Damage due to exposure to chemicals and solvents.
  • Damage to the watch due to physical dents and scratches
  • This warranty is void if the watch has been damaged by accident, negligence, unauthorized service, hologram peel-off, or other factors not due to defects in material or workmanship.
  • No Warranty shall be provided on Watches which are purchased from unauthorised sellers.
  • No Warranty shall be provided on Watches which are found to be fake / counterfeit of Skmei Watches.

With exception to the above, Skmei India is committed to adjust, repair or replace parts to bring the customer’s watch back to its original working condition free of cost during the warranty period. The repair will be undertaken provided the watch is returned to Skmei Authorized Repair/Collection Centers accompanied by relevant Cash Memo/ Invoice and Warranty card as a proof of Date of Retail Purchase.

Turn around time for service watches:

Up to 15 days from the date of receipt of the watch at the Skmei India Service Centre, Hyderabad.

Authorized Sellers for Warranty:

Currently, we ONLY accept warranty claims for watches sold by below sellers:

  1. Cloudtail India Pvt. Ltd. – (with a valid warranty card by skmei.in)
  2. Anam Ecommerce on www.skmei.in platform.

We request customers to purchase watches only from the above mentioned sellers for warranty.

Post Warranty Watches

  • Skmei India is committed to service/ repair all its watches for a period of 5 years and such a service (beyond the initial six months warranty) shall be on a chargeable basis.
